Music is my Life, Love and Meditation. When I am playing my songs, the melodies keep on changing, having a life on its own. All my music is relaxing, because to me, sound and silence are stepping stones on the journey to the center. There is a nonverbal magic that is transmitted through the melodies and gaps which is felt deep within. This is my newest CD presenting the Native American Flute over Latin rhythms, Guitar, Piano or plain as a solo instrument. Inspired by traditional Native American songs and the landscapes of the American Southwestern Desert, these haunting songs merge my classical training with the roots of the original people of this magnificent Land. This CD is excellent for elegant dinner & party music, yoga and massage, or simply to unwind and enter into the restful space of your heart. This is an all Native American Flute Music CD.

Each song on this CD has a little history and here are a view stories about there creation:

"Song from Andalusia" is freely based on a traditional Spanish song which I heard Gipsy's playing while traveling through Spain's province of Andalusia. Intoxicated by local heavy dark Red Wine, the original melody may have disappeared, but the feel, the beauty of the landscapes survived in me over many years, until I was ready to record this unforgettable memory ... a smooth Rumba Rhythm over traditional Flamenco-Style-Percussion's make it glitter in the evening sun like little diamonds ....

"Love Song" is inspired by Viru's song "Ikiteru", who was my lead Guitarist on my Japan Tour in April 2010. Long before I met him in Japan I fell in love with this devotional Osho song. The limitations of the Native American Flute changed the melody and enhance the simple unconditional LOVE this song carries. Many thanks to you VIRU in Japan.

"Memories" is one of these electric piano songs I recorded over and over again without ever publishing it. All my songs are recorded in one take. Trying to select the best take was very difficult, because I never play it the same way. So they are all different, sometimes I asked my self, who played this, sounds like me but I can not remember. I totally forgot about this song until Mark Vranesh a dear friend and multi media painter asked me to create a CD for Artist like him, to inspire there process of painting ... so here it is ... romantic spaces of beauty and well-being ...

"Walking in Beauty" is based on a traditional Navaho Melody taught to me on one of my many performances at an "Art & Craft Fair @ Bell Rock Plaza" in Sedona, Arizona. When I asked my old Navajo friend, did I get it right?, ... he said: NO, but it is beautiful anyway ... keep on playing ... .

This is my most relaxing and meditative CD with songs recorded during music and silence meditations. With rich and sensuous Native flutes from the mystic hills of Sedona, Arizona, romantic and heartfelt piano landscapes, a very gentle ambience. Vibhas is a born musician, whose longing to feel beauty has expressed itself through playing different instruments from his earliest childhood on. He is an accomplished composer and performer who draws on an extensive background in classical music and a love affair with the music of the east. The melting of these genres has culminated in his unique expression as an artist, merging east with west. Vibhas is a multi-instrumentalist who has created a unique style of music. Classical training in Germany in piano and flute, studies in Latin percussion and soprano saxophone, and many years playing Native flutes in India have all been influential in creating the original sound he plays today.

His travels around the world brought him to Sedona, Arizona where he was introduced to the haunting sound of the Navajo Indian flutes. Playing them to a background of Jazz harmonies and Latin rhythms creates a trance-like atmosphere of relaxation and well-being.

His music allows you to feel deeply...soothing the soul and lifting the spirit. Evoking an atmosphere of tenderness and sensitivity, it is excellent for massage or Yoga practice, or simply to slowly unwind and enter into the restful space of your own heart.

This CD with Peter Hess Tibetan sound bowls helps deepen your meditation, is useful as a sleep meditation and helps you to relax after a long day as you allow the vibrations to move through your body releasing tension, renewing your feeling of well-being.

The compositions of the Chakra Sound Meditation have been recorded with Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Percussion, Piano, Keyboard and Synthesizer and are fine-tuned to the specific energy bodies and chakras that they are created for. Each track is a Sound Meditation that can be enjoyed with toning or by simply listening to it. Chakra Sound Meditation
These two sound meditations have been recorded with singing quartz crystal bowls and are designed to infuse light into the chakras and subtle bodies, to help realign your energy.

Instructions: The first meditation follows the ascending path from the first to the seventh chakra.

1.Chakra: C relates to red, the root chakra, grounding and energy. 2.Chakra: D relates to orange, the second chakra, contentment and feeling. 3.Chakra: E relates to yellow, the solar plexus, strength and individuation. 4.Chakra: F# relates to green, the heart chakra, space, empathy and nature. 5.Chakra: G# relates to blue, the throat chakra, communication and understanding. 6.Chakra: A relates to royal blue, the third eye, seeing things as they are. 7.Chakra: A# relates to violet, the crown chakra, transformation, beyond dualities. 8.Unconditional Love: B relates to magenta, above the crown, the potential, beyond separation.

You will hear each note for approximately 3 minutes. The second meditation contains the same notes, only this time you are being guided through the descending path, beginning with the note of B, down to the first chakra, ending with the note of C.

Sit comfortably and relaxed, preferably close your eyes. Listen to the sound of the music and begin to sing or hum the tone you are hearing. Feel and breathe into the area of the chakra that you are toning with and allow your-self to be filled and re-energized by this vibration.

Opening the Heart: This guided meditation helps increase your awareness of your heart. As you become more familiar with the experience of your heart, you will also start recognizing the loving atmosphere of your heart more often, spontaneously during your daily life. This helps you feel more open and connected to yourself and others.

Returning to the Center: Your center is the source of silence, space and peace. It is a feeling of coming home again. Resting in your center, you feel nourished, rejuvenated, and refilled with life energy. By listening to this meditation you discover that you can return to your center in any moment, giving you relaxation and strength to live your life joyously and ease-fully.

This meditation can be done alone, or with one or more other people. Even if you are with others, the focus is one’s own inner experience. When a partner is suggested, you always can choose to continue dancing on your own. If you are doing this meditation alone, when a partner is called for, one possibility is to use a mirror - being your own partner!

In track 2, the word 'gibberish', which may be unknown to some, is used. It means nonsense sounds, or a language without meaning.
